My poodle spent months barking at my 5-year-old son whenever he did something she thought was dangerous. She went nuts when he got on his bike, started herding him when he ran, and nipped if he got close to the water at the beach. Tyson at Kerr K9 knew what to do almost before I finished explaining. He taught me rather than just offering to take my dog off my hands, and what I learned worked in my own yard after we left—not just at his property in Monroeville. What he taught me and my dog actually stuck. Definitely worth the drive from Fort Wayne; highly recommended.
Tyson trained our German Shepherd/Lab mix in April since then we have been able to walk her off leash. Tyson taught her other commands making it easier for us on this puppy training journey. Tyson is an excellent trainer and we highly recommend him as a trainer.

We recently had Gracie stay with Tyson for overnight boarding, and I couldn't have felt more comfortable leaving her in his care. Tyson was reliable, trustworthy, and had great communication with us throughout the drop-off and pickup process. I also really appreciated that he even gave us the option of picking Gracie up if we needed it. It's hard to leave your dog somewhere and not worry, but with Tyson, I genuinely feel like Gracie is in good hands. Tyson did an amazing job with Lola my Doberman.. She was reactive/aggressive towards all other animals. She spent 2 weeks in Tyson's Confidence course and came back a completely different dog. We sat down with Tyson beforehand and put together a training plan. He updated me every night with her progress. Highly recommended. We are excited to be able to board with him now. That will be extra peace of mind when we go on vacations.

I cannot recommend Kerr K9 Training enough! My dog originally spent two weeks with Tyson for training and came home with so many new skills, better manners, and a whole new level of respect and confidence. I've used Kerr K9 for boarding, and the best endorsement I can give is watching my dog run to Tyson and his wife like they're old family friends every time we arrive! I never have to worry about him while he's there because I know he is happy, comfortable, and incredibly well cared for.
